Denmark to reopen Embassy in Syria in 2026 On 30 January 2026, Denmark’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, announced the re-opening of the Danish Embassy in Syria in 2026. Until the re-opening and the official handover of agreements, the embassy in Lebanon will continue to cover tasks related to Syria.
