The Embassy of Denmark is looking for a  full-time Administrative Assistant.

The Embassy of Denmark in Beirut is seeking to recruit a dynamic, full-time Administrative Assistant to work in a multicultural environment.

You will be part of a team of colleagues with primary tasks centred around administrative duties. You are, however, expected to show the flexibility required for an optimal handling of the entire portfolio of the Embassy and thus be ready to contribute to handling tasks outside your own portfolio.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  •  Formal correspondence in English and Arabic
  •  Accounting tasks including VAT reimbursements
  •  Front Office joint with one colleague
  •  Archiving
  •  Various administrative tasks including maintenance, purchases, and assistance to the diplomatic staff of the Embassy

Required qualifications

  •     Relevant educational background
  •  3-5 years of work experience in a similar field.
  •  Excellent command of English and Arabic, both oral and written.
  •  Strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail.
  •  Service-minded.
  •  A structured mind-set and good planning and coordination skills.
  •  Professionalism and a high degree of integrity.
  •  Cultural understanding.
  •  Good interpersonal skills and team player abilities as well as interest in and willingness to share knowledge with – and learn from - colleagues.
  •  Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the Embassy.
  •  Advanced computer skills, including MS Office.

Desired qualifications

  •  Knowledge of Navision is a plus.
