Danish General Elections 18 June 2015
Procedures for voting in Lebanon

Parliamentary elections will be held in Denmark on Thursday 18th June 2015
You must be registered in the Danish electoral register in order to vote. Read more about the right to vote for Danish nationals abroad (Danish only):

Danish citizens who are registered to vote, and who are in Lebanon temporarily, will have the right to cast a vote at the Danish Embassy in Beirut.

There is no fixed deadline for voting in Lebanon. However, votes must be cast early enough to arrive at the relevant Danish municipality before the polling commences in Denmark at 09:00 on 18th June 2015.

In practice, this means that votes must be cast no later than Friday 12th June 2015. It is possible to vote after this date, but it cannot be guaranteed that these votes will reach Denmark in time.

Please bring ID such as passport or driving license.

Please note that it is necessary to make an appointment at the Embassy. This can be done by  calling 01- 991 001 Monday-Thursday from 08:00-15:45 and Friday from 08:00-14:00.
